FOSTER REVEALS PENALTY CHAT WITH SALAH
Experienced Watford shot stopper Ben Foster has revealed the penalty chat he had with in-form Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah when their teams met at Vicarage Road in the Premier League earlier this season.
Ben Foster went to say that Salah was not satisfied with scoring an unbelievable goal and his team thrashing his Watford side 5-0 away from home. He was looking out for little details at the end of the game and that it's not surprising that the Egyptian is up there with the best players in the world.
Watford goalkeeper Foster picked the ball from the back of his net five times during the game with Liverpool. The front three of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino started the game. The aforementioned Liverpool attackers were all on the scoresheet with Firmino netting three goals.
Ben Foster and Watford suffered their heaviest defeat in a long time against Liverpool but they were able to bounce back in the next league game, which was coincidentally against their Merseyside rivals Everton away from home. The Hornets came from behind twice to beat Everton 5-2 in the penultimate round of Premier League matches with four of their goals coming in the final quarter of the game.
The result against Everton took Watford six points clear of the relegation come, but that cushion has been reduced to just three points after they were beaten at home by Southampton in the latest set of Premier League games. Scotland internatinal Che Adams scored the only goal to give the Saints a 1-0 win over Watford.
