ARSENAL: FOSTER HAILS GABRIEL JESUS SIGNING

Veteran goalkeeper Ben Foster has hailed the signing of Gabriel Jesus at Arsenal this summer. While speaking on his YouTube channel, Ben Foster said the Brazilian striker would be a massive signing for the Gunners who were able to convince Manchester City to part with one of their attacking talent.

On new Arsenal striker Jesus, Ben Foster said the Brazil international doesn't get the credit he deserves while talking about what to expect when the new Premier League season gets underway next week. The former West Brom and Manchester United shot stopper said Arsenal made a bad start to last season and manager Mikel Arteta was the favourite to lose his managerial job in the Premier League at the time, but the Spaniard turned things around before a run of two defeats in the last three games saw them miss out on Champions League football.

Foster is certain that Gabriel Jesus would be a very good signing for Arsenal especially in the big games, but it doesn't expect the Gunners to qualify for the Champions League at the end of the new season.
Arsenal paid around £45m to sign Jesus from Manchester City at the start of this month. The 25-year-old has penned a five-year deal at Arsenal until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Jesus has scored four goals in four pre-season games since his arrival. He scored twice on his debut as Arsenal came from two goals down at the end of the first half to see off German side Nuremberg. The Brazilian came on at the start of the second half and he scored twice on the way to a 5-3 win. He then scored the opener in the 2-0 win over Everton. Jesus didn't scored during the 3-1 win over MLS team Orlando City. In his last game, Jesus scored the opener as Arsenal thrashed Chelsea 4-0 in the final to win the Florida Cup.
