Valdes linked with Liverpool Move

There is a rumor that is going on involving Victor Valdes with a possible move to the Premier League club Liverpool. The last competitive match that Valdes played was with his former club Barcelona a few months ago in March. It was during a league match against Celta de Vigo where Barcelona managed to claim a 3-0 victory but this game came at a cost for Valdes as he tore his anterior cruciate ligament at the 22nd minute which left him unable to play in the 2014 World Cup.
Ever since Valdes picked up that injury, the goal-keeper ended his career as a player of Barcelona as it was believed that he was going to join a club in Qatar or in the MLS but a deal could never be completed and now Valdes is a free agent.
Now that Victor Valdes is a free agent, he is an experienced shot-stopper that can arrive to any club on a cheap price as they will only have to match his personal wages but no price in order to actually sign him.
The future of Victor Valdes remains unsure as there are a number of rumors that link the Spanish goal-keeper with various clubs around the world but Liverpool is continuously being involved with Valdes. If Brendan Rodgers is indeed interested in signing Valdes, his arrival can increase the quality of the shot-stoppers in Liverpool as Simon Mignolet and Victor Valdes will be battling it out and trying to perform at their best with the objective of securing a starting role in the lineup of Roders.
Simon Mignolet is currently the undisputed first choice goal-keeper for Brendan Rodgers and the Belgium is one of the highest rated players in his position in the Premier League but things can change with the arrival of another performer to the squad.
